At the end of August a few members of the FirstTracks team went down to Maryland in National Habor to attend WordCamp U.S. 2023. We learned a ton and met a lot of other amazing WordPress community members in the process. It was a whirlwind trip to say the least but it’s always good to get out from behind the desk for a bit to network and learn some new things from time to time.
One of the highlights of this trip was the WooCommerce WooExperts happy hour reception on August 25th. We got the chance to meet up with many other WooExperts from around the world to network, share experiences and to share in a few awards with the group.

We are proud & honored to receive The Agency Excellence Award
This award was primarily for our work with Shademonster in late 2022 and the first half of 2023. Shademonster had already worked with a few other agencies trying to get their new WooCommerce website built and off the ground. When we first started working with them they were frustrated to say the least. The new website they were trying to build had one of the most compliacted and custom product options build we had ever seen.
Our team decided to take on the challenge and helped them get over the finish line. It definitely wasn’t easy or smooth but we managed to untangle all code that had been written and designs provided to produce a final product the client was happy with. We are proud of the final result and happy to have gained a new client to work with.
