On August 3rd, 2024, the FirstTracks Marketing team gathered at Lake Sunapee in Newbury, NH, for our much-anticipated 8th annual lake day. It was the perfect warm summer day to hit the beach, with clear skies and a gentle breeze providing the ideal backdrop for a day of fun and relaxation. Everyone looked very sharp in their custom jerseys that were designed by our creative director Gary (who unfortunately wasn’t able to make it because of a sick kiddo, but I photoshopped him into the picture above, so it’s like he was there!).
The lake day cornhole tournament, the main event!
The highlight of the day was our annual team cornhole tournament, which saw fierce competition and high spirits. Developers Jim and Ryan emerged victorious, showcasing their impressive skills and teamwork. The runners-up, Adam and Lou from the marketing team, put up a strong fight, making for an exciting and memorable tournament.
For lunch, we indulged in mouthwatering brisket tacos that were as delicious as they were satisfying. The rest of the day was spent soaking up the sun, swimming in the refreshing lake waters, and enjoying each other’s company.
Taking time away from our computer screens to bond as a team in such a beautiful setting was a much-needed and appreciated break. Days like these remind us of the importance of relaxation and connection, both of which are essential for maintaining a healthy and productive work environment.
