Our team (assuming you are hosted on WP Engine) first creates a fresh copy of your website on staging and then runs all your plugin, theme and WordPress core updates and then test all your systems end to end to make sure everything works properly after those updates. If everything checks out we will then reach out to schedule a time to run all of those same updates on your live environment. We then test everything again on your live environment and then notify you when complete and everything checks out.
