Price Extensions Get a New Look In Google AdWords

Another AdWords update just in time for the holidays!

Google has made another update to a new ad extension that many advertisers are still just getting into their accounts. Price extensions! Price extensions showcase a business’ individual products and services while displaying their prices. Until now, these extensions only appeared in a list format, similarly to how other extensions are shown. But now, following Google’s material design and mobile-first approach, they are swipeable cards—similar to Shopping ads. People can now tap straight from your extension to what they want on your mobile site. Check out the tweet below from Google.

Price extensions will begin showing as swipeable cards, and will roll out in 10 additional languages. Learn more: https://t.co/6PhGOmz6ue pic.twitter.com/QlPyzsEASl

Looks pretty good! Price extensions, like all other extensions, are considered best practice if you can use them in a contextually relevant case. And although they are larger and more interactive, price extensions are still the same cost to the advertiser as if the user were to click on any other the ad copy link.
